Out of Action

I have officially been ill forever. Well, three weeks. It feels like forever.

The flu that took me out all over Christmas turned into a chest infection that I just don’t seem to be able to fight off.

I know it will pass, but I am in a lot of pain and well and truly fed up. I have important Coping to do, essential Getting On With It, and even more crucial Brave Foot Forwarding.

You hear me body? Sort yourself out. We have work to do.

    Hope you feel better – my advice (care of some very expertly at being unwell people on Twitter) – gargle with salt water (eugh) and drink hot water with lemon juice (bleugh) – it truly works.

    I thoroughly sympathise! I had flu just before xmas and had forgotton how awful it is to be properly ill. And so much worse when you're a mother and can't just shut the world out for a bit. So well done you for coping as well as you have done and I really hope you shake off the chest infection very soon!xxx
