I can relate to this, with a boy who wakes at stupid o'clock every day- and has done for the past 2.5 years. I often take solace on the sofa, let him play and zzzzzz. Its an arrangement that suits us both! X

I love your photos of motherhood. I can fully sympathise with the lack of sleep, my 3yo is getting there but he was a nightmare of a sleeper. Thankfully they aren’t all the same. Great photos. x

Ugh – it's scary how quicly a 2a.m. bedtime can become the norm. I took a re-e–eally early night this week after a night fo sickness. 10.15 no less! Whoop-de-doo!
And the others are right, you're looking impossibly lovely for omeone with no sleep…

Yes I am wondering the same as BrightonMumTeenAngst? Where are the bags and dark circles? Anyway, great words Josie. Your little boy will be so proud one day to read them. I have played that sleep game with my kids many a time thoughout the years. Funny how they never play along.
