Awww Josie, it really is a steep learning curve isn't it? I think we all change after having children; they do something to us, make us question ourselves more, make us question life more. And that's a good thing Great to see that camera being put to such good use! Just love the pic of him carrying his little basket x
I am learning so much from my toddler (as well as patience…). But joy is most certainly the best lesson. They live so much in the moment and have such extremes of emotion. So if the joy is infectious then so, of course, is the frustration and tears. Beautiful pictures
They're great aren't they. Just when they make you feel like Cruella de Ville, they smile and show you something and the world is right again. Who says we are the teachers? lovely post.

Such a lovely post! I sometimes find it hard to find the joy with a 7 year old that's full of attitude but then I'll turn up at school to collect her and she'll throw herself into my arms and tell me that she loves me!!! Great pics too!
Gorgeous photos and a lovely post to go with it. I think it is absolutely right for all of us, children included, to embrace all of our emotions. Happy, sad, angry, whatever. Feel it, live it and know yourself better. We all have emotions. There is no right way to experience them but I do believe it is wrong to suppress or ignore them. I love your description of Kai when he is “in the moment”. Wonderful.
