I only just spotted Stephen Fry there too. IlovehimIlovehimilovehim. ‘Moab is my Washpot’ rocks. Don’t know if its your thing & a bit controversial but HOW brililant is he here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL5WVecNdhk (And why oh why did Ann Widdecombe say ‘yes, I’ll go up against Sephen Fry in a public debate’. I mean you just wouldn’t would you?! )

That's cheating! I seem to remember specific mention of no feet photos!! I put one of me up so you have to too…So there.
(nice idea though…wish I had thought of it!)

That’s just cause Tara’s afraid of feet ;) She did say it didn’t have to be of us!

There is a reason I take the photos. It’s so I don’t have to be in them :)

Very clever, excellent idea and Stitch and Bitch is the best knitting book EVER! Taught me everything I know (which granted isn't much)

Taught me everything too! Glad you like the photo, thanks x

You can tell a lot about someone by checking out their bookshelf – it's usually the first place I head for. Your selection shouts to me that you are someone who is searching, then again you have hand picked it and I bet there's loads missing! :)

I'm keeping my Gallery photos(s) under wraps until tomorrow – not that I'm nervous or anything.. me!? HA! (yikes)

    Josie Reply:

Me too. And yes hand-picked. It's me today anyway. And yes, searching seems to just about sum it up :)

Will look forward to seeing yours, as always x

A lovely still-life – very artfully styled! I love the fountain pen – used to love writing with one at school but I don't think I even own one anymore. Might have to add that to the shopping list. x

Great photo. I'm fascinated by the books. Have to say that I desperately want that stitch and bitch book – I want to get back into my knitting, I really enjoy it!

Great minds think a like because I'm planning on posting a stack of books, they tell a different story to your though. It was my way of avoiding having to post a photo of myself as well. I've got The Highly Sensitive Person. I've never read it. I might now! And I like Susan Jeffers too.

Well I'm no knitter so can't relate on a crafty level… but your choice 'What Mothers Do' by Naomi Stadlen is IMHO the best parenting book ever written! I read it with one eye half closed whilst lying in bed, dreaming of sleep & wincing as I fed my first child… then bought 6 copies & sent them to my new mum friends. Total & utter *calm* that we do is Good Enough. A girl can't read enough books – would love to see everyone's current stack (Does that sound like I want to see boobs? Didn't mean that…)

Yes, this is DEFINITELY you – how weird is it that I realise that after such a short time of “knowing” you but even in a “line up” I'd have put this picture to you. It's brilliant, Josie – great subliminal (or not) thinking :)

Where are your feet? I came over here fully expecting to see feet for Tara! I love the photo though, a very clever interpretation.

What a great photo! I love seeing the books my friends read. There are always surprises and hopefully, similarities like here. Super idea. Off to view no 2 now.

Love your books, I knit, well used to, now I do more needlework and I've read Sophie's world but hundreds of years ago, I'd need to read it again. I too love books, always have, always will

I agree with Mrs W, the books a person chooses tells a lot about them (rather like the shoes a man wears, for some reason . . .)
Great take on the theme, you clever so and so! x

I'm looking at the bookshelves as I'm typing this. That would be the new bookshelves we had put in the living room for Christmas, as the floor to ceiling ones in the dining room were full. The guy who put them in said “Now you'll have to buy things to go on them.” I just laughed and thought of the boxes of books ready and waiting!
Great idea for your photo, I think anyone who comes into our house can tell alot about us from the books on our shelves. And from the fact that I colour code them. Did I just admit that?

Very clever! I also need to thank you for introducing me to Blipfoto after seeing your tweets! Funnily enough one of my Blips was my pile of reading material at the side of the bed – the key one being “How to solve your child's sleep problems”. I just need the baby to read it now!

    That's very clever.

The book, “The Highly Sensitive Person” caught my eye. Is that a book that someone with anxiety and panic disorder can help? My little sister suffers terribly and I want to recommend it if you think it will help her to read it. Thanks.

I do love your photography. I'm another blipfoto convert thanks to you and Kelly. For some reason your bacon sandwich photo is permanently etched in my mind – yum!
