The Gallery: Beauty
It’s not a good day today.
I try hard to still find beauty in a day like today but it is not easy.
It IS there if you look for it though, really, really closely:
It’s here:
and here:
and here:
and,
if I look really hard, past the tantrums and the frustration and unbelievably early start and the no-nap disaster that is today, it’s even here.
Yes, especially here:
These photographs were taken for The Gallery over at Sticky Fingers in response to lovely Tara’s photography prompt this week: Beauty. You can see the rest of the beautiful images here.

It does us all good to look through the bad and see the beauty. I see you are getting to grips with that new Camera. I still need to buy a book on my SLR, but it is finding the time to read it!

Is there anything you're not good at?! That bacon buttie has made my mouth water, off to rummage for bacon in the fridge…

There is also beauty in friendship. I am sending you a big hug.

Your photo's are amazing. I really, really want a bacon sandwich now, and I've just had tea!

even the bad days have good bits. love the last pic though – definitely an air of 'on the edge of an emotional outburst' there!

I wanted to take a picture of the yellow crocuses but I couldn't find any pretty ones, except for up the path right next to someone's front door down the road and I wasn't brave enough to go and take it!
My stomach is rumbling now. I want bacon.

Beautiful pictures all, especially the one of Kai. And a picture of a bacon buttie, that's just cruelty to those of us not in the UK!

Wow, that new camera's being put to some good use. I love taking photos of my children because they look so perfect. I can gaze on their beautiful faces and forget all the other stuff x

That bacon sandwich does look exceptionally beautiful! Especially as I've given up meat for a while. And, a gorgeous photo of Kai.
